The short answer
The Microsoft Store updates it for you in the background. Settings shows your version.
Automatic updates
Like every Store app, Perfect Dictation is kept up to date by the Microsoft Store in the background. New versions usually arrive within a day of release, and the next time the app starts you are on the latest one.
Updating by hand
- Open the Microsoft Store.
- Go to Library (or Downloads and updates).
- Click Get updates.
Which version do I have?
Open the app's Settings: your version number is shown there. The changelog lists what changed in each version.
Notices and required updates
Now and then the app may show a short notice from us, for example about planned maintenance. Very occasionally, a version is too old to work properly with the service; the app then tells you and links straight to the update, so you are never left wondering why it stopped working.
