Last updated 9 October 2026. Operated by DeveloperData.net, Bangkok, Thailand.

In plain words

  • We never keep your audio. It is gone once your text is written.
  • Your text goes back to your PC. It is not stored on our servers.
  • We keep counts and timings: words, seconds, speed. Not content.
  • We do not sell data, and nothing you say trains any AI.
  • Typing rhythm is off by default and never records keys.
  • Delete your account any time and it is gone within 30 days.

1Who is responsible

DeveloperData.net, Empire Tower, 41st Floor, Unit 4106-7, South Sathorn Road, Yannawa, Sathorn, Bangkok 10120, Thailand, is responsible for your data. Questions go to [email protected].

2What we keep

  • Account: the name and email address from your Google account (Google also shares your profile picture with DeveloperData.net when you sign in; we do not keep it), the account number Google gives us to recognise you (never your password), your plan, and when you signed up.
  • Devices: a key for each signed-in PC, its app version and when it was last used.
  • Usage: for each dictation, the number of words, the audio length, the app you were in (for example Slack or Gmail, just the name), the style and the timings. Never the words themselves.
  • Synced settings: your dictionary, snippets and your own styles, so they follow you between PCs.
  • Website visits: the page, the referring site, your browser, your IP address and country, kept for up to 400 days to spot abuse and see which pages help.
  • Support: the tickets you send us and our replies.
  • Crash reports: if the app crashes, the type of error, where in the app it happened, the app version, your Windows version and how long the app had been running. Never what you said or wrote. You can switch crash reports off in the app's Settings.

3What we never keep

Your audio is held in memory only while it is written, then discarded. Your text is sent straight back to your PC and lives in History there, under your control. Typing rhythm, if you turn it on, counts characters and backspaces per burst of typing on your PC; it never records which keys, never records text, and skips password boxes.

4Who helps us run it

GroqSpeech to text, and the clean-up when it is the first free engine. Zero data retention: it keeps nothing and trains on nothingUnited States
CerebrasThe clean-up that turns what you said into finished text. It keeps no requests, responses or logs of them, and trains on nothingUnited States
DeepInfraA backup for speech to text when the main engine is busy. Nothing is stored to disk, and nothing is used for trainingUnited States
Fireworks AIA backup for the clean-up when the others are busy. Requests are held in memory only, never logged, and not used for trainingUnited States

5How long we keep it

Account, device and usage records are kept while your account is open. Website visit logs are deleted after 400 days. When you delete your account, everything tied to it is deleted within 30 days, apart from payment records we must keep for tax law.

6Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Most of it is on your account page; for anything else, email us and a person answers within 30 days. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place with data protection law, you also have the rights that law gives you, including complaining to your regulator.

7Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in (90 days), one to count unique visits (400 days) and one to remember the language you chose (400 days). When you use Google's sign-in pop-up or button, a check value is kept for 10 minutes, and when you sign out a marker is kept for 1 minute so the pop-up does not open again straight away. Google's sign-in script, loaded while you are signed out, may set Google's own cookies. No advertising cookies and no other third-party trackers.

8Changes

If we change how we use your data, we email you before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
