The short answer
From Windows Settings, Apps, Installed apps, like any Store app. Your account, plan and synced settings stay on your account in case you install it again.
Uninstalling
- Open Settings, Apps, Installed apps (on Windows 10: Settings, Apps).
- Find Perfect Dictation, click the three dots, and choose Uninstall.
Or right-click Perfect Dictation in the Start menu and choose Uninstall.
What stays and what goes
| Stays | Goes |
|---|---|
| Your account and plan | The app itself |
| Your dictionary, snippets and styles (synced) | History on that PC |
| Your stats on the account page | Settings that only lived on that PC |
Copy anything you want to keep from History before you uninstall.
Free up the PC slot
Uninstalling does not sign the PC out of your account. To free its slot for another PC, sign it out from the Devices tab on your account page.
Leaving for good
To remove your account as well, delete it from your account page. See Can I delete my account?
